Yo, I am Justyn Thomas(with the ‘y’ and not the ‘i’), a passionate entrepreneur, designer, developer, photographer, and videographer. I will be writing in a mix of formal and conversational for two reasons. That’s how I really am and this is my blog so I make the rules!

I have more than ten years experience in the digital arts industry. But if you came here you probably already have an idea of that anyways 😉 Now that we got the boring stuff out we can move on to more important things.

As of now, I am the creative director at 422 Agency, a digital advertising agency and working on a second degree in computer science at Florida A&M University. I am always trying to get better with the times, I believe that your success is a direct reflection of your personal growth within your passions.
This first post on my new blog will mark as the digital rebirth of me as a person and as a creative developer.

First things first, none of this would be possible without the awesome people over at Taproot Agency, more specifically Lucas. I presented no coding problem that he could not solve.

At the time I reached out to Lucas I had over three years experience as a front-end developer. I felt I was transitioning from learning to code to coding to learning. To make this transition I would need to sit with someone who is much more experienced than me. I am so grateful for the time and effort that Lucas gave, it forever changed the way that I think and develop web pages.

Since my time with Lucas I have been able to develop more efficient and powerful websites as a front-end developer, this is one of the main contributing factors that lead to me to consider this as a digital rebirth. Experience is life’s best teacher and you can find out quickly how much you don’t know when you sit under someone who has more experience.

(Insert drum roll here…)

So sit back, relax and prepare to enjoy the personal growth of yours truly, and if you made it this far in the blog post…Thanks for reading!
