2017 – the Year of growth as a Photographer

About three years ago I was messing around with Amazon looking for a gift to buy myself. No specific price range but I want wanted to purchase myself something nice for working hard. While scrolling passed a Canon T5i Rebel, I paid it no mind the first time.

I had always had a secret crush on photography but every time the time came to pursue the craft I turned the other cheek, my passion for photography was indelible and I knew deep down inside I would get into it someday or another. When I was younger I would collect newspapers to study the photography. I have always been a student of the digital arts in some way, form, or fashion, and I was always looking for ways to expand my skill set to become a better creative. So somehow I pulled together enough nerve and brought the camera.

Photography started out as a hobby, I started shooting for fun. My background in graphic design put me ahead of the game, and because of this photography quickly turned into a lucrative money-making hobby.

Fast forward to 2018, I can say that 2017 has definitely been a year of growth for me. I have been shooting on higher scales and more credible platforms. I recently launched my own color correcting factory ‘The Preset Lounge’ and became a photojournalist.

I can’t thank you all enough for your support in 2017. I look forward to strengthening and building more relationships in the future. These are some of my favorite projects from 2017.
